Description:

It would have been quite an ordinary Sunday, as if created for leisure, if the alien newcomers hadn't knocked on the door of Maček's family. If you thought they might have fallen from Mars, you’re wrong, they came from the distant planet Earth. Yes they did, for real, we're not kidding you! And what's even weirder, the newcomers are called the same and look the same as the Maček family. (Almost the same.) They're their steak ... sorry, their reflection in space.

This unusual humor-ridden and unconventional SF story with elements of ludism, which through ghost remarks and references actually speaks about our prejudices towards others and those that are different, was told in a special way by Mujca Maček's domestic cat called Micika, and translated from cat language by Pepa Puh. (For those who don't know, Pepa Puh is the pseudonym of the writer Nena Lončar, who has achieved a number of awards and recognitions for her literary works, including our biggest award for children's literature "Grigor Vitez" and the international award "Little Prince". The author is known for her original, lavish style dominated by linguistic creativity and play.)

The narrator Micika is initially top to bottom sure that the newcomers are actually cat-eaters, and the impatient city crowd wants to send them to where they came from as a matter of urgency. In order for the Earthlings to know who and what kind of Extraterrestrials they really are, they first need to look at themselves, but few dare to do so. The hardest thing is to see yourself.
